Sunday School
Our Sunday school has grown considerably from modest beginnings. We have a solid core of regulars who are supplemented by children out visiting relatives or on holiday. Our youngest child is three and we have three teenagers who join in with the Sunday school as helpers and lots of children in between.
The children learn Bible stories, take part in craft activities and sing songs amongst other activities. They start off in the church for the beginning part of the service, then leave at the end of the first hymn. They cross to the Round House which is a small building very near the church. There are always at least two Sunday school teachers on duty.
At Christmas, the children take part in the now traditional Nativity play which is much enjoyed by all.
The children learn about the wider Christian community with links between children at our church and children in the USA and Mozambique now established.
