27 August 2023. Today as we gather together, we recognize the majesty of our God and we lift our prayers to Him in silence and song. It is easy to see the blessings of God when we are full. But, do we recognize God’s blessings when we are empty? When our change purse is empty? When we feel lonely? When we look at others who are doing well and compare ourselves when we are going through a hard time?

When we are spiritually and physically hungry, do we thank God for our lives, our blessings, our good fortune? Thanks to Gordon Newlands for the Readings and Pastora Jeanie Cooper for the Intercessions and David Sanders for recording the service

20 August, 2023.Today as we gather together, we hear a story of healing and we pray for God to heal us - of our fears, our worries, of all the troubles that bind us. Our Scriptures tell us that we should keep the Sabbath as a day of rest from toil, but one Sabbath Jesus healed a woman who had suffered an illness for 18 years. Did Jesus disobey the Sabbath Commandment or did he show us a different way to live God’s way? Many thanks to Alan James for reading our Scriptures, to Colin Anderson for the Intercessions and to José Cueto for recording the service.

13 August 2023. May we seek to discover the blessings of each day and its new beginnings - we should learn from yesterday and look forward to tomorrow, but not forget to be thankful and enjoy today, whatever it brings. Many thanks to Gordon for reading our Scriptures today, to Pastora Jeanie for the Intercession Prayers, and to José Cueto for recording the service.

6 August 2023. Today as we gather together, we raise our joys and concerns to God; we ask for forgiveness where we have fallen short; we pray for guidance along life’s journey, and we praise God from whom all blessings flow. Thanks to Davy Young for the readings, to Rick Boyle for the intercessions and to José Cueto for recording the service.
