25 February 2024: Today, we come together to seek the guidance and direction of God and to gather strength at the table of our Lord. On this second Sunday of Lent, let us live in the name of Jesus.Who do we understand Jesus to be and how do we live in his Name? As we live day by day, let us recognize our responsibility to represent Jesus in every task, in every smile, in every gesture, in every word. May we bear the name of Christ, be a model of Jesus’ compassion and joy and peace and love. May we be the disciples we are meant to be and may we have the confidence to live in the name of Jesus. A special Thank You to Dot Colling for reading our scriptures, and Pastora Jeanie Cooper for the intercessions, and José Cueto for recording the service.

18 February 2024: Today, we begin the journey of Lent - a season of contemplation, a season of prayer, a season to recommit to our faith journeys. Many thanks to Alan James for reading our scriptures, Gordon Newlands for leading our intercessions and José Cueto for recording our service.

February 11 2024:Today, we come together to witness the glory of God revealed in Jesus Christ. On this day of Transfiguration, let us gather together to embrace change, to gain strength to face the mountains in our paths, and to renew our faith that God will be with us throughout it all. After we witness the glory of Jesus, we proclaim our mission, as he did by quoting the book of Isaiah: ‘The Spirit of the Lord is upon [us], because he has anointed [us] to bring good news to the poor. He has sent [us] to proclaim release to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to let the oppressed go free, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favour.’ On this day, let us reveal the love of God through our word, our actions and our example. Let us come down from the mountaintop with zeal and energy to share the love of Christ with others. Amen A special Thank You to Colin Anderson for reading our scriptures, and Pastora Jeanie Cooper for writing the intercessions, and Pastora Krista for reading them, and Josè Cueto for recording the service.

4th February 2024: How Busy is Too Busy? Today we look at how Jesus himself, even though very busy, still always found the time to stay connected to his Father in Heaven through prayer. So, I encourage every one of you to make prayer a priority, a habit, part of your normal routine, if you are not already doing that. If Jesus needed to spend time with the father, how much more do we need it. Special thanks to Howard Cook for reading our scriptures, to Bob Wilson for the intercessions, Uli Doerr - our guest organist - for the music, and José Cueto for recording the service.
